Job Description
The Marketing Manager Irving Energy is responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of the overall marketing strategy for this business unit. This role is responsible for ensuring that plans meet organizational objectives, valuate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data. Monitoring of all marketing plans and implementing any changes required is a key part of this role. The Marketing Manager Irving Energy also oversees the development and implementation of marketing programs and promotional campaigns including the development of communication plans in conjunction with marketing communications.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plan along with the associated budget to achieve business objectives.
  • Improve marketing and brand capabilities by performing market research and intelligence, developing and following brand and marketing processes through various tools and systems.
  • Ensure all plans support the execution of consistent and on brand customer experience.
  • Identify and develop programs and promotional campaigns that support business objectives, recognizing the specifics of the diverse markets in which we do business; produce offers that are fresh, exciting, and innovative.
  • Develop programs and promotional campaigns that increase customer loyalty and improve share of market.
  • Measure progress and results by tracking performance data, customer perceptions and interests, and research diagnostics for choice of brand.
  • Manage relationships for programs, cross promotion partners, and vendors.
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to flawlessly execute programs and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure brand compliance in all materials, programs, and campaigns across the line of business.

  • Knowledge of market conditions, industry knowledge, branding, product image, advertising and managing promotions.
  • Proven track record of introducing successful marketing programs in consumer and business to business environments.

Education and Experience
  • Post-secondary education in consumer and / or business marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 " 10 years in marketing, branding, and leadership.
