We are currently seeking to hire a General Labourer to be based at our Orillia plant.

OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a General Laborer to join our team at the Orillia plant. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple departments, gaining exposure to a variety of tasks and job functions. After the 3 month probationary period, management will assess your strengths and place you in a position that best utilizes your skills and supports your growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks
• Learn to operate basic tools and machinery
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Identify areas where you can excel and add value to the team

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES

• Education or training related to fabrication work or working with machinery
• Experience in welding, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading
• Basic computer skills
• Strong time management
• Ability to use small tools and taking accurate measurements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• A strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
