We are seeking to hire a junior /entry level fashion technical assistant

You support the Designer in all stages of development. You are involved in the execution of the designs with a focus on technical illustration, product fit and quality and communication through tech packs. You have strong attention to detail and administrative skills to compliment your creativity. Clear communication and organization are essential. High competency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities:

• Use illustrator and Photoshop to design and develop technical drawings, images, graphics and photographs
• Assist with spec creation
• Perform and document fit sessions
• Update and create detailed and accurate tech packs
• Create style names and skus, and maintain database
• Develop trims and maintain trim database
• Manage and organize samples

Qualifications:

• Familiar with fashion design, art, music and social media
• Intermediate skills with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, office and outlook
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making
• Strong understanding of the apparel development process
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to receive and communicate feedback effectively
• Fluent in English – oral and written
