Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a software development role with a primary focus on testing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks for our web applications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, significant experience in test automation, and a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web and legacy applications.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high product quality.

  • Develop tools and utilities to improve the efficiency of the testing process.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding and testing best practices.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex software issues related to testing and automation.

  • Mentor junior team members and help cultivate a quality-driven engineering culture.

  • Continuously research and implement new testing tools, frameworks, and best practices, including the use of GenAI/LLM for code and test development (preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing software in Java.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automated tests for web applications.

  • Full understanding of the modern web technology stack, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.

  • Demonstrated experience working with and developing automation solutions for legacy applications.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile application testing and automation.

  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI/LLM tools for code and test development.

  • Familiarity with additional testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit, REST-assured).
