Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Project Admin to join our team.

Supporting Project Managers on site, the project administrator works collaboratively with other teams, in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. To be successful, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and detailed oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • File documents, conduct employee onboarding, orientation and paperwork.
  • Assist with organizing on site events such as lunch and learns.
  • Taking meeting minutes, drafting memos/presentations and distributing as necessary.
  • Aid with the development and maintenance of project management documents.
  • Work with suppliers on quotes, project costs, delivery and forecasted spending.
  • Support Project Managers with the procurement of materials, supplies and services as necessary
  • Assist Project Managers with their schedule, coordinate team meetings and schedules.
  • Organize and prepare for internal and external meetings, gathering materials required
  • Utilize Excel for a variety of project tracking and documentation
  • Support month-end procedures

The ideal candidate would be expected to work Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days on site, commutable distance from Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • Self-starter, able to learn and apply new concepts, and use software and of tools quickly and independently.
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset.
  • Experience with Ms Suites (Excel, word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Previous experience in construction, engineering or project management work environments is an asset.
