We are recruiting Articling Students starting January and May 2026 to join our Edmonton office.

The Role

  • Work with a team of professionals who assist individuals, businesses, not-for-profits and first nations with a wide range of accounting, assurance, and financial services.
  • Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of corporate year ends, which includes compilation, review, and audit engagements.
  • Support a varying size of audit engagement teams with assessing the appropriateness of audit evidence on-sight and remotely.
  • Prepare financial statements under the various financial reporting frameworks.
  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns, including related filings and schedules.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by the partners or senior staff accountants.
  • Participate in education, training and professional development programs.
  • Work independently and in a team environment under the direction of the leadership.
  • Completion of additional ad-hoc administrative duties or assignments as required.

What You Will Bring

  • A university or college student expecting to complete an undergraduate degree (preferably BCom or BBA) before the start date.
  • Meeting the CPA pre-requisites for the Professional Education Program.
  • Travel to client job sights is required. Must have reliable transportation locally and the ability to travel out of town for the work week.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and able to prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines.
  • A team player who encourages the success of all.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of accounting software programs is considered an asset.
