Directors' Choice is the premier provider of answering services to the North American funeral industry. We believe that every interaction is an opportunity to bring comfort and clarity during a deeply personal time. We are currently seeking a caring and composed Customer Support Specialist to be the first voice of support for the families we serve.

About the Role:

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will handle incoming calls from individuals and families seeking information or immediate assistance regarding our funeral services. Your ability to listen, empathize, and provide accurate information will play a key role in helping families navigate one of life's most difficult moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls with sensitivity, professionalism, and discretion
• Provide information on services, pricing, and next steps in the funeral planning process
• Document information accurately in our system
• De-escalate emotionally intense situations with empathy and support
• Follow scripts and protocols to ensure compliance with company and legal standards

Qualifications:

• Exceptional communication and active listening skills
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and compassionate in emotionally charged situations
• Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
• Demonstrate accurate and fast typing skills.
• Comfort discussing sensitive topics with discretion and empathy

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Shifts:

• Full Time
• Various Shifts
• Must be available to work a Saturday or Sunday each week
• Training: First two weeks: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm, Third week: Tuesday-Saturday, 7pm-4am
