OVERVIEW:

Come join our team as a Fuel and Lubricants Delivery Driver and help support our growing customer base in Timmins, Ontario. This is a valued and respected role within our organization—our drivers' professionalism and dedication are the driving force behind our continued success.

As a Fuel and Lubricants Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely loading and delivery of fuel and related products to our customers while providing courteous and dependable service.

This role is permanent, working days Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role may require occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as required. This role is based at our Timmins division.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • $34.10 per hour to start.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver petroleum and lubricant products to residential and commercial customers.
  • Work weekday day shifts, with occasional weekend shifts as part of a compensated on-call rotation.
  • Maintain accurate records, including delivery documentation, logbooks, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) reports.
  • Conduct mandatory pre-trip (circle) inspections and keep the truck, cab, uniform, and work area clean and presentable.
  • Communicate relevant information with dispatch, including suggestions to improve safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support delivery of lubricants, related products, and equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all legal and company regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education and Experience Required:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Valid DZ certification is required.
  • Minimum of (3) years post-certification driving required.
  • Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
  • Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is also desirable.
  • PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.
  • Forklift and Boom Truck experience is an asset.
  • Mechanical inclination is required.
  • Must possess a clean 'abstract' and acceptable CVOR.

  • Must always present a professional image.
  • A willingness to participate in training is essential.

Other:

  • Local geographical knowledge is required.
  • Must always conform to the requirements of the Ministry of Transportation regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and responsibly within a small and cohesive team.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all-weather situations.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and position requires frequent bending.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, on occasion.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in delivering multiple products, equipment, etc.
