Job Summary:The Shipper is responsible for managing the accurate, efficient, and timely dispatch of finished cabinets and components. Key duties include order picking, packing, loading, and ERP system data entry, ensuring seamless coordination between production and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and stage finished cabinets/components per daily shipping schedules.
  • Accurately pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring protective packing and correct labeling.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, following safe handling protocols.
  • Record and process shipping and inventory transactions in the ERP system (e.g., 20/20 Insight):
  • Enter outgoing shipments- schedule outgoing shipments with carriers .
  • Update inventory, location, and order status.
  • Trigger reorder alerts and generate reports as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
  • Collaborate with Production, Inventory Control, and Customer Service to prioritize orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain 5S and safety standards in shipping and storage areas.
  • Assist with special projects (e.g., process improvements, ERP data cleansing).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in shipping/logistics, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in an ERP system and comfortable with transaction entry.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and operate forklifts or pallet jacks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork orientation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in cabinet manufacturing or similar.
  • Familiarity with ERP modules: inventory, order management, shipping
  • Understanding of cycle counting, FIFO, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, etc).
Hours of Work:
  • Standard workweek is Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • On-site role.
