- Participating (on occasion leading) project meetings and defining next steps for marketing deliverables.
- Drafting Program Engagement Briefs and Workback schedules.
- Coordinating creative approvals with client and internal stakeholders.
- PowerPoint content development.
- Updating project status reports.
- Writing copy for assets defined in approved Program Engagement plans.
- Conduct competitive analysis or market research for our clients.
- Attend creative reviews and feedback sessions.
- Lead & own smaller tactical Client projects through all stages of development.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a Marketing Coordinator or Account Support role.
- Positive, customer-centric person who is eager to learn and roll up their sleeves to get the job done on time.
- Post-secondary education in one of the following areas: marketing, advertising or business communications.
- Agency experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of different types of paid, owned and earned media (print, email, direct mail, digital, POP).
- Demonstrated experience working with medium-large Project teams (6-12 stakeholders) where marketing is one of several deliverables leading to overall success.
- Understanding of the process to execute and seek client approvals of creative and copy.
- Customer / sales data analysis is a strong benefit but not necessary.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Extremely quick learner with the ability to take ownership over a project and see it through to completion.
- Demonstrated time management experience managing several clients/projects against competing timelines.
