Java Holdings is seeking a Systems Implementation Lead to coordinate and deliver software solutions across a variety of companies under the ownership of Java Holdings Ltd. This role will lead end-to-end implementation projects—from initial requirements to deployment and will involve both internal systems as well as third party system projects.

The primary objectives of the Java Systems Implementation Lead is to improve business execution and profitability through the implementation of processes, information asset management and systems which streamline operations, reduce risk, and reduce operational overhead.

This is an office-based position located in Nisku, AB. Travel within Canada may be required from time to time.

This role reports directly to the Director of Systems at Java Holdings Ltd.

Requirements

Core responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support the full lifecycle of software implementation projects (scoping, planning, execution, and deployment)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users including management, administrative staff, and technical specialists
  • Evaluate and analyze business and project processes, identify inefficiencies, issues, risks and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, developers, process improvement leads, and training teams
  • Manage project team resources, timelines, scope, and deliverables using hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Post deployment, serve as point for change management and coordinating ongoing support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience coordinating software projects across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Background in or familiarity with construction, engineering, or powerline infrastructure industries.
  • Experience supporting or delivering ERP and document management solutions (M-Files experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis skills.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Preferred Education & Certifications

  • Diploma or degree in Business Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or related field.
  • PMP or ITIL certification
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies, DevOps practices and tools is an asset
