- Journeyman Certification: You are a Certified Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working on heavy-duty machinery, including excavators, dozers, graders, and haul trucks.
- Mechanical Expertise: You know engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive trains inside and out. You're comfortable diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Equipment Knowledge: You have a broad understanding of a wide range of heavy equipment, including those used in civil construction, excavation, road building, and site prep.
- Preventative Maintenance: You're proactive about conducting regular maintenance checks, keeping an eye on wear and tear, and ensuring that machines are always in optimal working condition to avoid costly downtime.
- Welding & Fabrication (Bonus): If you have welding or fabrication skills, that's a bonus! Experience with welding, plumbing, or hydraulics will come in handy in keeping equipment in top shape.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy troubleshooting and resolving mechanical challenges, and you work efficiently to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Team Player: You collaborate with other mechanics, operators, and project managers to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and on time.
- Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification is required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or higher) is required.
- WHMIS and CSTS20 (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliability: You're the kind of person who shows up, gets the job done, and can be counted on to keep things running smoothly.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in your work and double-check your repairs to ensure quality, safety, and longevity.

- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with the possibility of extended hours during busy seasons).
- Occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
