- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
- Prepare reports
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Professional Engineer Certification (P. Eng.)
- Construction Trade Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Gold Seal Membership in the Canadian Construction Association
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification offered by the Canada Green Building Council
