Job Posting Description:
We are looking for an experienced Retail Strategy Analyst with expertise in financial analysis, GIS, and a focus on optimizing reporting processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Strategy & Analytics, you will enhance reporting mechanisms within financial and GIS frameworks within the Retail Strategy and Analytics group. Financial Process Analysis:- Evaluate and enhance financial processes and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Retail Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) to align on reporting requirements.
- Streamline and optimize reporting outputs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support CRO Division.
- Oversee annual and periodic budgeting, including invoicing.
- Improve reporting workflows for financial and GIS analysis to boost speed, accuracy, and relevance.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand needs and tailor solutions.
- Develop clear, impactful data visualizations that communicate insights effectively.
- Oversee data collection, validation, and storage to ensure quality reporting.
- Enhance centralized data management across CRO Division.
- Maintain data integrity through quality standards.
- Identify and implement reporting automation for CAPEX/OPEX.
- Process invoices and perform account reconciliations.
- Analyze spend patterns to identify anomalies or cost centre issues.
- Produce comprehensive reports and documentation to support CRO’s multiple business units.
- Communicate with non-technical partners, translating complex technical information into understandable insights.
- Develop documentation for financial and GIS reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting methodologies and processes.
- Support Retail projects associated with network optimization including calibration of network and identification of top and poor performers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, GIS, Business, or related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, GIS, and process improvement.
- Intermediate proficiency in GIS technologies.
- Familiarity with financial software. We prefer familiarity with LCBO internal systems like SAP and MicroStrategy.
- Ability to make recommendations based on data-driven insights and opportunities.
- Experience optimizing reporting workflows and processes.
