As a Field Compliance Associate, you create chemistry by...- Providing support to the compliance monitoring program, aiding in the advancement of new traits.
- Being responsible for compliance monitoring and maintenance of trial site isolation areas and post-harvest sites to a high standard.
- Weekly monitoring of isolation areas and post-harvest sites for the presence of prohibited species and maintaining the sites to a standard expected by our organization and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency
- using techniques such as spraying, tilling, burning, and mowing.
- Ensuring standard operating procedures are maintained and followed.
- Strong agronomic competence through an agricultural background and a high level of attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to be flexible and modify plans as situations change.
- The ability to work in a group as well as be self-motivated to get solo tasks accomplished.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating equipment is an advantage.
- Comfortable being on the road for extended periods of time, driving highway and grid roads to get to post harvest sites.
