Our  client, Fox Harb'r Golf Resort and Spa, has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager at its magnificent seaside facility  located along the picturesque Northumberland Strait near the quaint village of Wallace, Nova Scotia.  In addition to 72 suites, the resort boasts an award winning professional golf course, world-class spa and fine dining restaurant with Wine Spectator recognized wine list.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for booking  corporate and local/social group business, executing the Resort Marketing Plan and pursuing new accounts . Other responsibilities will include developing new markets for catering sales, solicitation of business through telemarketing and resort site inspections, preparation of menu proposals, developing  sales and marketing strategies, providing reports, participating in trade shows, conventions and promotional events and taking part in ongoing training.

Qualifications for this position include a Degree in Hotel Management or a related field, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a minimum of five years experience working at a world-class resort , CMP certification and computer literacy required.  Bilingualism preferred.

Local, national and periodic international travel required. Excellent compensation package and bonus plan plus full benefits and gas allowance.
