Job Description:
- Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm and sincerity.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by identifying and responding to guest needs.
- Ensure that all employees conform to the provincial laws and brand standards.
- Responsible for the quality and presentation of food and beverage products, service, cleanliness, atmosphere and the promotion of a team environment.
- Ensure proper telephone and reservation procedures are adhered to.
- Promote guest satisfaction by performing floor walks to identify service opportunities.
- Participate in building team rapport, project a positive attitude, and lead by example to create a superior guest satisfaction and an enjoyable work atmosphere.
- Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly duties and cleaning procedures are performed and adhered to.
- Coordinate the activities of Room Service in an effective manner.
- Assist in marketing, promotion projects.
- Assist with wine list and wine pairing.
- Perform any other duties assigned or requested by the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive demeanour
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong motivator
- Ability to positively influence employees
- Computer literate
- Experience and knowledge in wine service and wine paring
