Pastry Chef De Partie
Under the direction of the Executive Chef, this position is responsible of the supervision of all Pastry operations while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment. The positions key accountabilities are:
- Supervises Pastry employees
- Works on the floor and directs employees to prepare, pre-cook, cook and present dessert items in a timely fashion, following standardized recipes
- Maintains budgeted labour and food costs
- Assists in the development of new pastry/dessert items, standardizing preparation and par stock levels
- Liaises and communicated effectively with all appropriate operation departments
- Develops and cultivated strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, and employees)
- Ensures compliance with health and safety and public heath regulations
Job Requirements:
- Culinary Education
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Minimum 3 years in Pastry experience
