Electriacal Estimator

Our client, a leader in construction management, is looking for an Electrical Estimator to be based in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Preparing accurate estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
• Provide quotes to customers by performing material take-offs and pricing
• Review bid-documents (specifications, drawings, addendums, bid alternates, delivery dates and bid closing dates)
• Coordinate sending/receiving of estimating documents to contractors
• Utlize software to manage data and effectively retrieve information when required

Requirements for this position include:

• Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering/Technology or Journeyman Electrician Certification
• Previous experience with Commercial and/or Industrial Projects
• The ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• The ability to communicate effectively with contractors and clients
• An exceptional level of professionalism, integrity and customer focus
• Experience in Electrical Estimating
