Manpower is currently looking for an energetic individual for the position of Business Development Specialist within our New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island operations.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Expanding and developing new business within an assigned territory.
- Creating, implementing and managing a business plan in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
- Generate new revenue from new customers.
- Understanding the market: the customers, prospects and key networking opportunities.
- Knowledgeable in Manpower's products services processes and policy and procedures along with current sales practices.
- Joint sales calls/activities with the Branch Manager or Staffing Specialists as appropriate.
- Managing prospects, clients and internal follow-up in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the implementation of new accounts in order to ensure a transition from the Business Development Specialist to the branch office for the client.
- Providing guidance to end users on Manpower's operations, recruitment strategies, Human Resources issues and best practices.
- Effectively manage relationships with the customer and branch staff.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding specific branch targets as determined by the annual branch goals.
- Achievement of profitable results for the company through sales and gross profit.
- Meet and exceed annual sales/GP target.
- Effective management of pricing strategies.
Experience Requirement
- Proficient at all levels of the selling cycle, demonstrated through a successful sales track record.
- Previous experience selling a business to business product would be preferred.
- Two to five years related experience.
- Knowledge of the industry trends and markets mandatory.

Educational Requirement
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience will be considered. Sales related training would be an asset.
Pay Range is $37,400 to $46,750
