Production Work/General Labour – Manufacturing

Our client a leading manufacturer and distributor is looking for individuals who can work various tasks such as prepare packaging, pack product into containers to be prepared as finished goods, cleaning and support of technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Packaging products accurately for distribution
• Monitoring machines for accuracy
• Reporting any machine defects to the Supervisor
• Pack product without interrupting smooth flow
• Empty garbage cans into outside receptacle at end of shift
• Cleaning at the end of shift
• May be required to train for task specific roles in the facility

Requirements:

• Must have own pair of steel toe boots (Green patch)
• Safety cautious
• Multi tasking
• Writing and reading skills
• Hard worker – team oriented
• Detailed oriented
• Highly reliable

Shifts:

• Working in a 24 hours operation, day shifts – night shifts
• $10/hour - $13.00/hour – overtime as required
• Shifts vary from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm starts for 8 – 12 hours each
• First day orientation training provided
• 24 hours to 72 hour notice of shifts
• Must have reliable transportation due to shift times
