Strescon Limited currently has immediate career opportunities available for Production Workers.  Founded in 1963, Strescon has grown to become the largest prestressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada.  We have developed a reputation for quality, reliability and efficiency in the concrete industry.  We service our customers from our operations in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia and have expanded our market area from the Atlantic Provinces to include the New England region of the United States.

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to general heavy labour work in a Precast and/or Pipe Concrete Facility including:

• Assembly, preparation and dismantle or concrete forms;
• Mix, poor and spread concrete materials;
• Placement and tying Reinforcing Steel;
• Clean up of shop;
• Shift work and long hours may be required.

Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion or high school or equivalent;
• Previous labour experience in the concrete and/or construction industry considered an asset.
• Ability to handle very physically demanding work;
• Past experience tying rebar and concrete finishing considered an asset;
• Those candidates with general knowledge of the precast concrete industry will be given preference
