Crushing Operations Superintendent

We are currently seeking applications for the position of Crushing Superintendent from qualified individuals. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing all mobile crushing operations.  Utilizing your previous experience, you will focus on the operational availability and optimum utilization of company assets to meet defined targets and deadlines. Previous experience in road building, mining or heavy civil construction is necessary.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of the crushing operations
• Must have knowledge of various types of materials
• Ability to keep materials within job specifications
• Staffing and scheduling of equipment
• Safety and compliance with Provincial and company policies
• Maintenance of crusher and ability to repair and maintain equipment
• Plan and prepare crushing schedules to coincide with operational demands
• Must be available( often 24 hours per day ) to deal with delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the jobsite

Qualifications:

• Experience in operation, maintenance, and managing a rock crusher a must.
• Previous supervisory experience on road building projects a definite asset
• Ability to deal with stressful situations and problem-solving ability a must
