| Job Description |
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will supervise and direct preventive maintenance activities of portable, stationary and mobile equipment for the Aggregate division. |
| Responsibilities |
• Direct and authorize repairs and maintenance of portable, stationary and mobile equipment ensuring the accuracy of cost allocations
• Maintain accurate asset listing and identification, coordinate disposalof idle assets, and relocation of assets, division wide.
• Develop and maintain strategic fleet management plan
• Establish and adjusts maintenance procedures to meet plant utilization and productivity targets
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve root causes in downtime on all major production equipment
• Implement and monitor maintenance best-practises using proven KPI's and continuous improvement objectives
• Recomment budget expenses and capital spending

| Requirements |
• Licensed Mechanic
• Three years post secondary education or five years experience in the aggregate industry
• People management, problem-solving and decision making skills
• Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel)
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and senior management
