Purchasing / Logistics Manager

Our client, a privately held manufacturing company based in the Greater Moncton area, seeks a professional Purchasing / Logistics Manager to spearhead the procurement of all goods, services, equipment, and transportation.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Purchasing / Logistics Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership of the purchasing and logistics function, continuous improvement, and cost reduction.

The ideal candidate is a progressive manager with more than an eight year track record of success in supply chain management, and possesses a PMAC and or CPP designation, along with a post-secondary education. You are highly ethical; possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with first rate negotiation skills. You have experience working with, and implementing MRP systems, and are passionate about your profession.
