Summary of Route Service Driver:

You will be responsible for driving a Shred It truck to various locations securing and destroying confidential material on the customer's premises. Your route may have an average of 15-20 customer visits per day. Uniforms are provided and laundered; we also offer benefits, work shoe allowance, independent working environment, and dedicated routes. Key Accountabilities / activities of Route Service Driver:

• Complete conscientious circle-check of assigned truck, using the circle checklist form
• Obey all municipal, state, and federal laws when driving and parking the truck.
• Politely greet the client contact and record any changes of which they may advise you.
• Conscientiously remove the console bags from each console.
• Replace the console bag with an empty bag, and lock the console.
• Transfer the tied bags directly to the shredder truck and shred material.
• Return to client with document of destruction and invoice.
• Return truck to branch after route is complete.

Requirements for Route Service Driver:

Qualifications:

• A minimum a grade 12 (or equivalent).
• Must have a Commercial Driver's License (B) with air brake endorsement.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.
• All successful candidates will be required to participate in a full security clearance.
