Established since 1961, Farmers Dairy is a reputable dairy processor and distributor in Atlantic Canada who is currently seeking a customer-focused Driver to join our Farmers team in its Bedford, Nova Scotia location.  Located just minutes from the thriving city of Halifax, Farmers Dairy employs approximately 600 people. Farmers is proud of its’ advanced technology in the processing & packaging of quality dairy products. The main duties would include:

• Delivery of products to corner stores, chain stores and distribution centers
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Establishing and maintaining harmonious rapport with customers

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• 1 years driving experience with Class 1 license within the last 2 years
• Demonstrate consistency, quality and accuracy in their work performance
• Work well on their own
• Highly motivated self-starter continually seeking professional development
• Available to work a variety of shifts
• Demonstrate good quality customer service skills

This position is covered by a Collective Agreement, offers a competitive salary & benefit package which includes a pension.  Trips are within Nova Scotia & overnight trips are not required on a regular basis.
