To say our client is busy is an understatement…they have experienced increased growth since 96 and are well positioned as number one in their industry. That being said they work hard and distribution and timing is everything. We require someone that is able to work in an industrial environment that is professional and fast paced. We need someone that is able and willing to learn what it takes to be successful at the position of Equipment Dispatcher. In this role you will be called upon to schedule pick up and delivery of trucks, trailers and a variety of heavy duty equipment to various locations through out the Maritimes.

This is not a sweat shop environment but rather a professional environment that is professional and completely client focused. The position of Equipment Dispatcher is one that the internal customers and external customers rely on heavily and essentially if things aren’t organized then nothing gets moved or picked up.

In this role we need someone with the following traits:

• Organized, Organized and yes…Organized.

This is a fun role where you have control of how and when things are done and as a result are able to be efficient by ensuring that product and equipment are moved as efficiently as possible and that involves knowing where things are going and what needs to be picked up and doing it in a well organized fashion that is efficient and flows smoothly. We need a proactive person and not a reactive one. If you are able to think on your feet easily and are a solutions minded individual then this could be the position for you.

Ideally we would like to have someone that understands the dispatching industry but that being said we are willing to look at someone that has been involved in another high pressure time sensitive role that wants to learn a new position and is willing to invest the time and effort into it.
