For almost 20 years, our client has been a recognized leader in the signage industry. In the recent years they have expanded their custom services to include in-house design, large format digital printing, vehicle graphics, municipal branding, way-finding, trade show displays and screen printing. As they continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join this performance-driven, team-oriented organization in Dartmouth.

In this role reporting to the General Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include:

• Estimating – seeking, tendering and estimating bids for all new and potential projects.
• Operations – Estimate and successfully provide production activity for the shops and design teams, including preparing daily production and operational schedules.
• Inventory Management – Controls all aspects of stock levels including purchasing, inventory counts, negotiating & securing pricing, & tracking shipments.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

• Post-secondary education in business or related field
• Three+ years of related experience as an estimator handling specific and custom projects, including inventory management and purchasing functions
• Experience in the sign industry would be a definite asset, though not a requirement for an experienced estimator
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with QuickBooks would be an asset
• Strong mathematical skills with strengths in budgeting and forecasting
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, willing to pitch in to get the job done to meet team and company targets and objectives
