Estimator
(Building projects)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Interpreting technical specifications in Calls for Tenders;
• Calculating the quantity take-off for work estimated by the firm;
• Working on invitations to subcontractors and analysis of bids received;
• Receiving subcontractor prices and closing project bids with the designated personnel in charge.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture or related field;
• One to three years experience in construction;
• Excellent communicator with strong leadership and analytical abilities;
• Self-motivated and team oriented;
• Relevant experience in estimating commercial and institutional projects and knowledge of OST and Timberline are considerable assets.
