As the exclusive Canadian recruiter for our client, we currently require a senior level Sub-Sea Pre-Commissioning Engineer for the St. John's, Newfoundland branch office. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design of pipelines and umbilicals, the mentoring of junior and intermediate engineering designers, as well as ongoing interaction with clients. This position requires some moderate travel but is based in St. John's.

Because of the extensive sub-sea discipline work that is required you should be able to demonstrate the following:

• 3 to 5 years or more experience in a sub-sea capacity at the pre-commissioning stage, including expertise is sub-sea pipeline design
• a degree in mechanical engineering
• exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• a desire to work with and mentor engineering and technical staff
• a clear ability to liaise with corporate clients in a fast paced setting
