Early Childhood Educators

Halifax Developmental Preschool, a program offered by the Halifax Association for Community Living, is a child care centre which caters to diverse populations.

We are hiring Preschool educators who have experience working with children from 18 months to 6 years old with a broad range of diverse needs. Positions available include replacements for maternity leaves as well as casual work for our substitute list.

Our program meets the training standards for Department of Community Services- Day Care Act. Early Childhood Education, current First Aid training and preference will be given to candidates with experience working with children with identified special needs. We require professionals who are energetic, creative and enjoy working in a team atmosphere. Visionaries welcome!
