We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.

 

We have an opportunity in our Fredericton office for a Hydraulic Modeling Engineer. Applicants should possess outstanding skills in communication and team leadership. Excellent computer skills, and strong attention to detail are also essential requirements for the role.

 



Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities will include water distribution modeling, stormwater modeling, preparation of stormwater management plans, bridge hydraulics, fish passage designs, preparing proposals and study reports, field investigations, detail design, construction cost estimating, preparation of tenders, client liaison, supervision of technical staff, and administrative service.



Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate should have 8 or more years experience with computer modeling programs including WaterCAD, XP_SWMM, SWYMHYO, and/or PCSWMM. Experience in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, with a background in water distribution systems would be preferred. In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate mature judgment and possess a positive, team-oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities are required in this role, along with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
