Senior Exploration Geologist

Position Description:

• Position is based in St. John’s, NL, the petroleum capital of eastern Canada
• Will require some minor fieldwork, but mostly supervisory
• 5-15 years experience, with a mix of petroleum and mineral exploration preferred
• Experience in sedimentary mineral deposits such as evaporates (salt and potash) would be a definite asset
• Excellent communication and data management skills
• Work independently and management of field crews in a frontier setting
• Bilingual would be an asset but is not required
• Must be eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of NL
• This position has a significant degree of autonomy where initiative, creativity and commitment will be recognized and rewarded
• Looking for someone who has a lot of energy and is eager to join an emerging company
• Excellent presentation skills
