Surveyors-in-Training
Endroits : Moncton, Saint John

Terrain Group is dedicated to adding value to our clients’ land and its use. We have been providing engineering, planning, and surveying solutions to the very best organizations in Atlantic Canada for over 40 years.

We have earned the right to call these organizations our clients because our people are among the best and brightest working in the industry today. They are dedicated to delighting our clients by offering advice and solutions that are practical and innovative.  Our surveying services include subdivision surveys, topographic surveys, “as-built” surveys, condominium surveys, preparing legal descriptions, acquiring and compiling spatial information for geographical information systems and the utilization of global positioning technology.

Together we have developed an environment that focuses on excellence and also recognizes that our people need a work/life balance. We are looking for exceptional Surveyors-in-Training for our Moncton and Saint John offices.

As the ideal candidate you are eligible for membership with APEGNB and ANBLS. People who have worked with you would say that you have meticulous attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written skills, and are an enthusiastic team player.

In addition to all of the things you would expect from this role, you will spend approximately the first 18 months working on a survey field crew developing your skills as they relate to the roles and responsibilities of the survey assistant, instrument operator and crew chief.  Upon completion of your field phase, you will become involved in preparing the detailed survey approach and calculations on assigned projects/tasks; identifying and undertaking required surveying research; translating field data into the necessary analysis, calculations and completing detailed drawings along with evaluating and resolving boundary solutions and resolutions.  In all aspects of this position, you will interact with clients, providing them outstanding client service and satisfaction.

If the idea of working beside exceptional people who deliver tangible business results everyday to a growing list of extraordinary clients excites you, then we need to talk and we need to do that soon.

Interested candidates are asked to send their cover letter and resume, quoting competition number SIT0417-CB, to:
