Blue Note has an immediate opportunity for an Mine Geologist to play a key role in operation of the Caribou Mine site.  The operation includes both open pit and underground workings, scheduled to mine 3000 tpd of Zn-Pb-Ag ore from VMS deposits at the Caribou and Restigouche properties.

Reporting to the Manager of Geology, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day geological activities required to support underground operations.  Responsibilities also include geological mapping, diamond drill hole planning and supervision, core logging, maintenance of the diamond drill hole database, modeling of ore lenses, resource calculations, and various facets of dilution control.

A minimum of five years of related experience is required. Candidates must be eligible to qualify as a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick.
