Account Manager – (ST01-08-CB)

ESRI Canada Limited has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager in its newly established district office in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador. In this position you will play a pivotal role in establishing the new office's presence and will work closely with the Account Management Team and the Region Manager to develop creative sales strategies for the markets within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Account Manager duties include:

  • Manage and coordinate the sales activities in the assigned verticals by implementing the ESRI Canada Sales Process seeking to provide excellent service and/or create new business opportunities
  • Collaboratively work with Account Managers and the Region Manager to develop successful coordinated sales strategies within the target verticals
  • Collaboratively work with the marketing and technical support colleagues in preparation for trade shows, user conferences, and client presentations/seminars
  • Provide a high degree of consultative sales service for all accounts and business partners by continuously following up and monitoring customer needs and products
  • Develop and maintain ongoing account analysis and account management/penetration strategies for individual accounts
  • Provide product demonstrations to potential clients
  • Develop prospects and represent ESRI Canada Limited through tactful administration of public relations and excellence in the execution of presentations, sales meetings, trade shows and follow-up meetings

Requirements:

  • University Degree and/or Community College Diploma in related field of study
  • Minimum 4 years experience working within the GIS industry
  • Sound understanding of GIS solutions
  • Comfortable advising and selling to the "C" level within government and the private sector

  • Familiarity with ESRI software
  • Familiarity with ESRI partner solutions
  • Prior sales experience
  • Bilingual (French/English)
