Pipefitters

Irving Shipbuilding Inc’s primary office is located at the Halifax Shipyard with other locations in the Maritime Provinces. The company has been carrying out ship repair, building quality ships and fabricated modules for over 100 yrs. The company’s commitment to Health, Safety and care for its employees and the environment is an integral part of our business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and Interpret Blueprints, Drawings and Specifications.
• Instructing Apprentices.
• Experience working in Marine/Industrial Industry is considered an asset.

Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of college / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
• Pipefitter Trade Certification
• WHMIS
• 3 – 5  years Experience
