IMP Marine Division is an ISO 9001:2000 certified division of IMP Group Limited, operating 15 locations throughout North America providing an array of products and services including; commercial fishing supplies, boatbuilding materials, inspection services, industrial rigging and industrial and marine aero safety supplies.

Job Summary:

The Industrial Outside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for direct sales activities within key market segments to include; Fishing, Marine, Aquaculture, Forestry, Mining, Utility, Governmental, Industrial end users and distributors. The incumbent will utilize their marketing skills, to develop and implement our Company’s long-term strategic goals and focus on product diversification and exceed customers satisfaction. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

Sales Coordinators perform some or all of the following duties:

• Conduct direct sales campaigns by phone, customer visits and various other means.
• Identify and develop new customers, products, services and other growth opportunities.
• Promote diversity and expand current products and services offered.
• Plan and execute the preparation of advertising catalogues and other promotional media.
• Review and maintain price lists and discount structures that maximize sales and revenue potential.
• Maintain high-level of customer service.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
• Up-date management regarding competitor analysis and pricing. 
• Resolve customer complaints. 
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Undergraduate degree with emphasis on sales and/or marketing preferred.
• Previous sales experience is required with good knowledge of one or more of the following industries:
• Industrial Market segments
• Commercial Fishing/Aquaculture
• Marine Industry
• Marine Safety
• Wire Rope and Rigging 
• Working knowledge of Distribution channels
• Knowledge of sales techniques and excellent customer service skills are required.
• Valid drivers’ license is required.
• Computer skills are required
