Canada Steamship Lines are currently inviting applications from qualified and experienced Masters and Chief Engineers for service in the Great Lakes. CSL owns and operates the most modern fleet of gearless and self-unloading Bulk Carriers in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River region.

Candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements:

• Master Near Coastal or Master Mariner Certificate validated in accordance with STCW and with experience as a Master.
• Canadian First Class Engineer, Motor Ship Certificate of Competency validated in accordance with STCW with experience as a Chief Engineer.
• Canadian resident or those who have documentation allowing them to work in Canada.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of French an asset.
• Excellent communication, leadership, managerial and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with computers and common software programs.
• Experience on a self-unloading bulk carrier an asset.
