Production / HACCP Supervisor
Scotsburn Dairy Group, a leading processor and distributor of fresh quality dairy products and ice cream in Atlantic Canada, requires a Production / HACCP Supervisor at its production plant located at 13 West Pleasant Street, Amherst, Nova Scotia.
Reporting directly to the Manager, this position will be responsible for supervising plant employees; monitoring and enforcing good manufacturing practices; ensuring products meet specifications; training employees in programs as required; performing HACCP related inspections; directing & monitoring department efficiency; actively participating in health, safety and environmental initiatives; administering key processes and managing inventory.
The ideal candidate will possess a post secondary education, preferably in food technology/safety or agriculture; strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to effectively communicate and work well with others; possess a strong commitment to occupational health, safety and environmental standards and procedures; ability to work in a fast paced environment in a food plant.
