| Job Description |
Our client, Boone Food Services, is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their A&W team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. |
| Responsibilities |
Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, your will be responsible for supervising front end and kitchen staff while ensuring superior customer service is provided to all customers. In addition your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:
- Training of new employees;
- Ensuring that Food safety and restaurant processes are followed by all staff;
- Providing assistance to staff during escalation conversations with customers;
- Working on various stations within in the restaurant, cash, kitchen, and drive through for example during peak periods.

| Requirements |
- Three to five years previous experience in the fast food industry;
- High School Diploma or equivalent, post secondary education would be an asset;
- Possess a strong customer service orientation;
- An effective communication style both written and verbally;
- Sound decision making and problem solving skills;
- Have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks;
- Are self motivated and process driven.

| Compensation and Benefits Details |
Our client offers a competitive compensation package including an hourly wage of $9.50 - $10.50 hour based on experience, health benefits and profit sharing. Free parking available as well. |
