Position:  Assistant Cook/ 3rd Cook
      
Reporting To: Executive Chef
      
The Holiday Inn Halifax Harbourview is currently seeking candidates for the position of 3rd Cook/Assistant Cook. Successful candidates should be passionate about providing our Guests with the highest standard of guest care. Individuals who are personable, enthusiastic, who go above and beyond every day and are willing to be our Guests' Constant Caring Friend should feel compelled to apply. Responsibilities:

  • Cook and assist with the night line.
  • Saucier preparation.
  • Breakfast shift for Restaurant and Convention floor.
  • One year cooking experience a must.
  • Assist cooks and Chefs in additional duties when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Great time management and organizational skills a must.
  • Must be able to productively work in high pace environment.
  • Must be team player oriented.
  • Candidate must be flexible to work varied shifts (days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays).
