Position Overview:

Loads and unloads dishwashing machine with dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans. Sorts and stacks them in storage and on trolleys. Follows a cleaning schedule for Banquet Kitchen, Main Kitchen, Fife & Drum Kitchen and Cafeteria to maintain a sanitary and clean work environment for food production and service.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent an asset
• Knowledge of WHMIS
• Previous Stewarding experience an asset
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Must be able to work back shifts, holidays and weekends
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
• Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to work in a busy, hot, fast-paced and noisy environment

Dates: Part-time/Full time

Salary: $10.29 per hour for first 3 months; $11.04 per hour after 3 months
