Our client, Fox Harb'r Golf Resort and Spa, has an immediate opening for a LEAD BARTENDER at its world-class property located on the picturesque Northumberland Strait near the oceanside village of Wallace, N.S.  In addition to five star accommodations and amenities, the resort boasts a world-class professional golf course, spa and fine dining restaurant.

Requirements:

Min. two years previous bartending experience at a 4/5 Diamond Hotel or quality restaurant.

Smart Serve Certificate.

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Superior proficiency in area of mixology, bar products, wine and culinary product knowledge.

Willing to work in all areas of food and beverage service including banquets.

Participate in team meetings and training seminars.

Able to lift a min. of 50 pounds.

Abe to handle busy periods and long hours.

Assets:

Knowledge of POS.

Additional languages.

Industry certifications.

This is a full time/seasonal position (April – October, 2008). Min 40 hours per week, hourly rate plus gratuities. Must live or be willing to relocate within a 45 km radius.
