The Canadian Cancer Society is committed to creating a world where no Canadian fears cancer.  The Society's Nova Scotia Division is seeking a Director of Development to join its team of dedicated volunteers and staff to help make this vision a reality.

Reporting to the Executive Director, and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead the development and implementation of the strategic direction for the provincial Marketing, Communications and Revenue Development campaigns and services.  You will build collaborative relationships, deliver effective programming and direct a range of integrated marketing, communications and development strategies involving volunteers, donors and staff.

As a senior development professional, you excel at strategic and operational planning, have superior written and verbal communication skills and possess a broad professional and donor network.  You are experienced in all aspects of corporate giving, including annual fundraising, major gifts, sponsorship, employee giving and related marketing initiatives.  A post-secondary education in fundraising and marketing or equivalent supports your eight to ten years of managerial experience in a multi-level, not-for-profit organization.
