When completed this shopping centre will compare to the likes of shopping destinations such Dubai, Hong Kong and Tokyo, aiming to attract the rich and famous from around the world. We are offering the opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join this exciting project for a 12 month contract in Chennai, India to assist in the launch of this spectacular Shopping destination. |
| The Ideal Candidate |
The ideal candidate will come from a background of marketing luxury events and services, ideally from a high-end retail perspective. Experience of having previously undertaken successful marketing exercises for grand openings of shopping centres and producing the associated communications mix and material for such an event |
| Job Description |
As Marketing Coordinator your role will involve liaising with the operations and leadership teams of the Shopping Centre to establish a clear marketing message and brainstorm plans for the marketing events leading to the opening of the centre. All marketing communications will be controlled by the Marketing Coordinator with leadership direction from the General Manager with the aim to create local and international awareness and excitement surrounding the new shopping centre. |
| Responsibilities |
As Marketing Coordinator your responsibilities are will be: - Conducting market research and analysis of the Local market.
- Produce reports and documents to support the communications and marketing mix.
- Produce a marketing plan and schedule with the input of the leadership team.
- Liaise with retail tenants to understand the brand mix within the shopping
- Coordinate the successful opening events for the launch of the newly constructed shopping centre.

| Requirements |
Requirements: - Hold Bachelors (Ba) degree in Business or Marketing, an MBA would be a significant advantage.
- 5+ Years of Marketing experience in a corporate or agency environment.
- Experience of managing high-end brands and services such as Hospitality and retail.
- Pertain excellent communications skills and a strong appreciation for cultures.
- Must be confident and reliable, motivated and goal oriented
- Enthusiastic with a strong aptitude and a positive "can do" attitude
- Experience of having conducting marketing events for the opening of a new store/centre or brand is an asset.
