Our client is experiencing explosive growth and requires an Opportunity Manager that is responsible for sales, marketing and purchasing of all products. This business unit supplies industrial and building material products across the Northwest Territories. This individual will be required to manage all activities with the logistics and inventory management process. This position is located in Hay River, Northwest Territories.

The Opportunity Manager will establish, develop and maintain the appropriate levels of inventory to meet the customer's demands and trends. This person will also be responsible for authorizing and issuing all purchase orders and continue to build relationships with the vendor community. The individual is also responsible for servicing current customers and develop new business relationships with contractors and construction companies in the north. 

The ideal candidate must be customer service focused and result driven. He/she will have sales experience coupled with a purchasing background with an emphasis in building materials and industrial products. 

This is a demanding role in an exciting industry and requires a highly self-motivated individual that can perform multiple tasks simultaneously. To meet this challenge our client offers an attractive compensation package with performance incentives and potential for rapid career advancement. A company vehicle is provided. You would be eligible for the northern living allowance.
