Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice-President, Leadershift, Marketing and Communications, this position is accountable for the development and delivery of marketing initiatives targeted to local, national and global audiences.
Working with people throughout our organization, you will be integral to the transformation Capital Health is undertaking to become a world-leading haven for people-centred health, healing and learning. You will tell our story, our multitude of stories in a multitude of ways, and in so doing you will help communicate our excellence for the sake of recruitment, retention, research funding, reputation-building and public confidence.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in marketing, business, journalism, humanities, literature, graphic arts or fine arts
* Study in the area of writing, marketing, communications and/or marketing research, health care communications, and/or psychology
* 5-10 years experience in progressively senior organizational development/marketing/public relations/ management positions
* Experience in strategic marketing and/or communication planning, change management, project management
* Proven track record in successfully introducing new and challenging marketing initiatives within an organization
* Significant ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of the organization in keeping with the transformation currently underway
* Demonstrated ability to manage time, projects, budgets, competing priorities and deadlines
* Skilled in management: analytical; strategic; assertive; independent; proactive; flexible; empathetic; ethical
Hours of Work:
Permanent full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
