Our firm, an established corporation representing clients throughout the Maritimes, has a position available for a Personal Lines Broker.
The individual we are seeking must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be professional and attentive to detail.
Organization, multi-tasking and an outgoing personality are essential for success.

Previous experience in sales is mandatory.
Key Accountabilities:
- insurance product sales with a focus on Personal policies
- the need to seek and act on referrals
- service and marketing of both new and existing business
- promotion of personal programs
- identify additional needs of clients
- retention and expansion of client strategies
- generation of daily appointments
- the ability to match or exceed monthly targets
- written presentations to new and existing clients
- collection of premiums
Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to:
- strong computer skills, typing ability with a minimum of 60 wpm
- knowledge of software programs e.g. Word, Excel, Power point, Internet
- post secondary degree in business with a concentration in marketing
- must own a vehicle with valid operators license
- willing to meet with clients
- prepared to enroll in required insurance courses, subject to time lines
- must provide a current clean criminal record check
- previous sales experience, minimum of two years
- maintain accurate, well documented files
